Why the ebs group's expertise

  • Capable of black start. Our enhance battery systems start up the turbine without an external power supply. This enables self-sufficiency, off-grid operation, and grid-forming. The wind turbine thus becomes an active component in grid restoration.
  • Built for harsh environments. Operating altitude up to 4,000 m, wide temperature range, surge immunity up to 6.4 kV (enhanced), full EMC qualification. Certified to UN 38.3 and CE.
  • PROFINET as the standard—other interfaces are possible. PROFINET is our standard connection. Other common industrial interfaces can be implemented: PROFIsafe, EtherCAT, CAN, and, on the encoder side, BiSS-C, EnDat 2.2, and SSI.
