Jens Christian Marquardt has been the managing director of e.bs kumkeo GmbH, which has offices in Hamburg and Kiel, since August 17, 2026. He succeeds Michael Leitner and Günter Hagspiel. Both will remain with the ebs group: as CEO and CFO, respectively, of e.battery systems AG, headquartered in Dornbirn.
With this change, the ebs group is establishing a clearer separation between group management and the operational management of its subsidiaries. Since the 2024 merger, the group has been consolidating expertise in engineering, electronics, and energy. e.bs kumkeo GmbH will thus have its own on-site management team.
“kumkeo stands for engineering that customers in regulated markets can rely on. My job is to create the business and organizational structures that will allow this team to continue growing,” says Jens Christian Marquardt.
