Our services
Photovoltaic systems supply clean energy – but not always when it is needed. Storage systems decouple generation and consumption. They make PV electricity plannable and open up additional grid-friendly applications.
Storage integration as part of a PV refurbishment
As part of the renovation of two photovoltaic systems, Wien Energie decided to integrate high-performance storage systems. Two fully equipped 20ft containers were each coupled directly with a PV field. The result is a modular, closely interlinked generation and storage system.
Surplus energy from the PV systems is initially stored. When required, the system releases the energy back to the grid. In this way, self-consumption can be optimized and grid stability actively supported at the same time.
