ebs electronics d.o.o. is the ebs group’s newly established manufacturing company in Niš, Serbia. As we build our new manufacturing site and establish our quality organization from the ground up, we are looking for an experienced and hands-on Quality Management Representative (QMR) to take ownership of quality management at our Niš site from day one.

This position is primarily based at our manufacturing site in Niš. You will be an integral part of the local organization and will work closely with colleagues and management across the ebs group’s locations in Dornbirn (Austria), Hamburg (Germany), and Kiel (Germany).

While the role has a strong international dimension, your main place of work and day-to-day focus will be our Niš site. Regular travel to our locations in Austria and Germany will be required to support cross-site quality initiatives, audits, and collaboration.

This is a key role with a high level of responsibility and visibility. You will play a central part in establishing and embedding a robust quality culture at our Niš site while driving consistency and continuous improvement across the wider ebs group.

• Take ownership of the Group’s Quality Management System (QMS), ensuring it is effectively implemented, maintained, and continuously improved
• Drive the development and improvement of business processes, ensuring they deliver the intended results and support the Group’s strategic objectives
• Coordinate quality management activities across all ebs group locations and ensure a consistent approach to quality standards and processes
• Build and develop the quality management processes and structures for our manufacturing operation in Niš
• Act as the key quality contact and on-site quality representative for the Niš location
• Plan, conduct, and follow up on internal audits, and coordinate activities related to external certification, customer, and other relevant audits
• Lead the management of corrective and preventive actions, ensuring timely implementation and verifying their effectiveness
• Monitor QMS performance, identify risks and improvement opportunities, and provide clear recommendations to management
• Build and promote a strong quality culture across the organization through training, communication, and hands-on support
• Support the qualification and evaluation of suppliers and contribute to the definition of appropriate inspection, verification, and quality assurance activities
• Ensure that customer requirements, applicable quality standards, and internal policies are consistently understood and implemented
• Promote a strong customer-focused mindset across the organization and ensure that quality remains a shared responsibility
• Have the authority to stop processes or production activities where significant quality risks are identified
• Provide regular management reporting on the effectiveness of the QMS, key quality issues, risks, and improvement priorities

What you bring with you:

• Several years of experience in quality management within a manufacturing environment
• Experience in electronics manufacturing or Electronic Manufacturing Services (EMS) is a strong advantage
• Strong knowledge of Quality Management Systems and relevant standards, such as ISO 9001, IATF 16949, and VDA 6.3
• Proven experience in planning and conducting internal and external audits, including customer audits
• Excellent written and spoken English
• German language skills are a strong advantage
• Willingness to be based primarily in Niš and to travel regularly to our locations in Austria and Germany
• A structured, hands-on, and solution-oriented approach
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the confidence to challenge decisions and address quality issues at all levels of the organization
• The ability to take a clear and independent position on quality matters, including when working with senior management
• A proactive mindset and the drive to build, improve, and make things happen rather than simply maintain existing processes
