We're looking for you as a
Battery Storage System Technician (m/f/d)
Location: Dornbirn
These are your challenges:
We’ll help you become an ESS specialist. To strengthen our ESS team at our Dornbirn location, we’re looking for a motivated individual to work on stationary battery storage systems—from design and wiring to commissioning. Experience is welcome but not required. What matters most is a passion for technology and a willingness to learn new things.
- Collaboration on the design and installation of battery storage systems, including inverter technology and transformer stations
- Assistance with creating single-line diagrams and circuit diagrams (you’ll learn this with us)
- Contribution to network and communication integration (EMS, SCADA)
- Assistance with coordinating the various trades involved
- Support for Factory and Site Acceptance Tests (FAT/SAT)
- Commissioning and service calls directly at the customer’s site
What you bring with you:
- A strong willingness to learn and a passion for taking on responsibility in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Basic technical training (apprenticeship, technical college, university degree) or a genuine interest in electrical engineering — recent high school graduates and career changers are also expressly welcome
- Interest in inverter technology, battery storage, and renewable energy
- Previous CAD experience is a plus — we’ll teach you EPLAN and the relevant wiring codes (VDE-AR-N 4100/4110)
- Proficiency in German; English is a plus
- Willingness to perform service calls and travel within the DACH region
- A structured approach to work and a passion for teamwork
This is what we offer you:
- A structured onboarding process and a personal mentor who will guide you step by step
- Training budget and clear career prospects — from technician to independent ESS specialist
- Get involved in exciting large-scale projects right from the start
- Startup mentality in an established company — AI-native tools, short decision-making processes, genuine innovation (post-lithium R&D, European OEM projects)
- Flexible working hours (as long as project and service assignments allow)
- A friendly, close-knit team and responsibility from day one
