To strengthen our ESS team at our Dornbirn location, we are looking for a technically skilled professional who will be independently responsible for our system architecture for stationary battery storage systems, from design through to commissioning.
- System architecture and design of battery storage systems, including inverter technology and transformer stations
- Preparation of single-line diagrams, circuit diagrams, and protection concepts for low-voltage, medium-voltage, and high-voltage connections
- Definition of the network and communication architecture, including integration with the energy management system (EMS) and SCADA
- Coordination of the various trades involved and interface management
- Support for Factory and Site Acceptance Tests (FAT/SAT)
- Commissioning and service calls directly at the customer’s site
- Professional guidance and mentoring for younger team members
What you bring with you:
- Solid knowledge of electrical engineering and control panel construction (a college degree or technical college diploma is preferred)
- Several years of experience (ideally 3+ years) in plant engineering, energy supply, or electrical power distribution
- Experience with medium-voltage technology and the wiring of low-, medium-, and high-voltage systems
- Familiar with the technical connection regulations for low voltage (VDE-AR-N 4100) and medium voltage (VDE-AR-N 4110)
- Expertise in inverter technology, battery storage, and renewable energy
- Proficiency in using CAD/E-CAD tools (e.g., EPLAN, AutoCAD Electrical)
- Proficiency in German and English, as well as a willingness to travel within the DACH region
- A structured, solution-oriented approach to work and a passion for teamwork
This is what we offer you:
- Responsibility for challenging large-scale projects from day one
- Startup mentality in an established company — AI-native tools, short decision-making processes, genuine innovation (post-lithium R&D, European OEM projects)
- The freedom to actively shape architecture and processes
- Flexible working hours (as long as project and service assignments allow)
- A friendly, close-knit team with a flat organizational structure
- Competitive salary, with a willingness to pay above market rate depending on qualifications and experience
